This module provides procedures for calibration, validation and verification of empirical or process-based models used to estimate stock change/emissions with the application of SCM0005 Methodology for Regenerative Land Management on agricultural land.

Project activities utilizing the SCM0009 Afforestation, Reforestation, and Revegetation methodology are required to employ this module for leakage estimation. This module takes into consideration leakage arising from the displacement of agricultural activities (including grazing) and fuelwood collection activities occurring before the project initiation. It encompasses leakage attributed to the baseline agent (activity-shifting leakage) and other entities (market leakage).

This module outlines the requirements for the use of Eddy Covariance to quantify the actual, real-time net GHG flux between the terrestrial surface and the atmosphere, in tonnes of carbon dioxide or equivalent (tCO2e), continuously for a specific project over space and time.
