Project activities utilizing the SCM0010, Methodology for Peatland Restoration. This module provides a means to quantify net GHG emission reductions (NERs) from project activities that rewet drained peatlands on agricultural land located in a temperate climatic region. The module provides the following options to quantify the NERs of peatland rewetting projects:

1)     “Greenhouse Gas Emission Site Type (GEST) approach via vegetation form” and land–use type as main proxies to determine emission factors.

2)     “GEST approach via water level measurement” and land-use type as main proxies to determine emission factors.
