SOCIALCARBON Success Stories

As you know the SOCIALCARBON criteria is based on the “continual improvement” of a project´s sustainability indicators. Since the creation of the SOCIALCARBON concept we believe that providing incentives and opportunities to organizations is the best way to achieve sustainable development. For this reason, we are pleased to share with you the impact of SOCIALCARBON in two projects in Brazil:

Cerâmica GPP
Cerâmica GPP is committed to improving sustainability, according to Alice owner of the ceramic:
The ceramic is undertaking various improvement actions including: employee training across all functions and lectures and courses in the company to improve cultural and technical employee qualifications. For example, for the past year, a professional has been coming to the ceramic, twice a month, to give lectures about communication skills, family relations, and family values. The ceramic also houses a library for workers, their spouses and their children. To help manage these actions, an action plan for SOCIALCARBON was elaborated with the support of Sustainable Carbon, the project developer.

At Cerâmica São Silvestre, the SOCIALCARBON project became an opportunity to improve the company´s image:
